xbox 360/pc network problems?
I have a windows vista home premium computer that I'm having trouble finding my xbox with. After hours of trying to figure out the problem I still have no real clues. But I'll give you what I know.
My Modem/router is an actiontec PK5000.
I can ping my Wii but not my 360.
Network discovery is on.
password protected sharing is off.
Media sharing is on.
uPnP is not blocked
I've even restarted my SSDP.
I keep looking on my network for my xbox and it doesn't show up on my network even though I am connected to it also I can't find my PC on my Xbox either.
If you need anymore info I'll update you just ask
I found that I can Ping the xbox when it is in the text pc connection mode but that's it so far
I understand what you are going through with the wii console. I had a friend who had the same problem too. See if this site helps.
