SATA II Solid State Drive vs. SATA III Hard Drive?
Hey Guys, What is the difference in transmission time between startup and a SATA 3Gb / s and an SSD SATA 6 Gb / s hard drive. I'm looking for OCZ 60GB and Vertex 2 Western Digital 1TB 6G. I am planning to pair the SSD with 2x 500GB Western Digital Caviar Black Disk in RAID 0 with the SSD as my boot drive and the WD as my game disk. I use an ASUS Rampage Formula III motherboard with an Intel i7 950. That, to better performance? SSD SATA II or SATA III HDD?
