Are there any compatibility concerns with the new installation of new Solid State Hard drives on laptops?
I have a laptop with a Solid State hard drive for my work and a number of projects I want to pursue. From a cost perspective, I would buy a laptop with a minimum standard HDD and then simply replace with my own SSD. Should I concerns about the size or connection or something in this regard on a laptop? I built my own desktop, so I have a basic understanding of what I do, but I know laptops are slightly different. Below is the exact setup I want. It is a Dell Precision M6300 and a G. I would think that to some extent. My advice is a good laptop it has a descent in HD. Geta and then just good external USB HD. Most of the time you can better deal if you have a laptop with a better hd. only concern would be if all it was meant for a certain food that you get your laptop may not provide. other only concern would be to verify the correct installation. I just do not tell you.
