Will my second degree burns leave scars? help?
Okay so I burn my self with an iron on my fingers about one weeks ago. I went to the doctor and they removed blisterd the skin of two of my fingers. So now I have pink skin that whats under normal skin and the other two fingers are brown where the blisters were. So im using Hydrogen Peroxide, Witch Hazel, and said that SSD cream 1% Silver sulfadiazine cream. What can I do to prevent these scars? and im like the right things to help heal do?
Stop using the peroxide and witch hazel now! You're just killing all attempts to form new skin cells (plus I imagine if he burns the witch hazel * L!) You need to clean with soap and water once a day, the application of the silvadene cream, then with a link. That's the best you can do for scar prevention. Silviadene is made especially for the treatment of burns, which is why it is given to you. As for leaving a scar, there is a good possibility it will, but also a chance that not.
