Give a good configuration for a desktop PC build?
My minimum requirements normal startup applications (such as browsers, movie players, etc.) should open immediately. NFS Carbon can play in Vista Ultimate (32 bit) with a maximum setting. (least to most wanted max setting) max 19 "LCD, no DDR3 memory, no quad-core processor.no ssd.single graphics card. system must handle photo shop CS3 in Parallel with auto-cad2007. sound card not required. (Internal enough). the system should be able to play HD movies.
since ur not a serious gamer no need for AMD processor. The main things that matter UR reqs will be primary items: CPU, MB, RAM, graphics card minor points: HDD Processor: 3.0 GHz using Intel Core 2 Duo (E8400) Graphics Card: NVIDIA 9 Series PCIExpress card with 512MB RAM will do (more if you have the money) (9800GT) Mother Board: a governance that supports both the above RAM: Since you want to get a multi-tasking fast RAM (2 GB) or 3GB if you want max 887Mhz to 1333Mhz supported hdd: to say a good 7200 rpm (250GB) more storage if you want to get a slower hard drive with more space and use as a backup to save secondary films slower drives will be cheaper etc.. Monitor: ViewSonic 17 "widescreen or sqrscr (sqr screen costier by 2000rs)
