How much performance increase (or decrease) has an internal SSD over HDD's offer?
HDDs as 7200 RPM, 10,000 RPM, and 15,000 RPM's, SATA, IDE, etc. I hear from many people that a serious increase in performance, but I hear many slow, because of them and only non-stop performance problem. What about their performance in a RAID 0? There is something extra is needed to install them in a standard case? Inform me! =]
Vista and upcoming Windows 7 os is the only operating system you are important, even slightly increasing the performance, unless you use in servers or possibly a VERY high-end gaming system you do not see much increase regardless of station or program, the only significant increase of more than 1 million hours before failure on the average. unless you get two SSDs do than raid 0 isn't worth it and if the adapters for a standard case you might need a 2.5 "to 3.5" adapter as most SSDs are 2.5 "plus if they work at the front well they will work for a long time is your best bet if youre getting Vista for maximum performance and room for two 2TB drives (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136344) RAID 0 them, and format them as NTFS exFAT doesn't support 2 thousand more than 4000 gigs gigs of memory for the same price as 500GB SSDs ... what im saying is worth SSDs Arnt worth except in extreme conditions
