I was thinking of buying this OCZ Vertex 2 OCZSSD2 2VTXE120G-drive and I was wondering if my RAM is only 800MHz, the speed of the SSD drive limit on how fast my RAM? RAM FSB has nothing to do with SSD or hard drive because the south bridge chipset controls the HDD and SSD. OCZ Vertex 2 SATA II product lines and your motherboard can support. So go for it if you want. The difference is noticeable when loading windows or applications or transfer files, but there are also 7,200 HDDs some good high read / write transfer rate.
