Half the price and double the capacity on New Technology Hard Disks
SSD, Solid State Drive is a hard drive with no moving parts. In a normal hard disk a rotating disk spinning when in use.
Solid State Drive can be compared to a memory card in mobile phones, cameras and so on. No moving parts and they do not move in this hard disk. The advantage of this hard disks is that they can tolerate shock and rougher treatment than an ordinary hard drive. Some of these discs can read and write faster than normal rotating hard disks. This will result in faster startup of the computer and the software is faster than normal discs.
