Can I have an SD card in my netbook to increase storage?
I bought a netbook with a 4GB SSD. I want to increase the size. If I buy an SD card and place it in the card reader built will increase my hard drive size? Do I need to configure it or can I just plug and go? Thank you! I have a netbook CTL. It is a off-brand because I just bought for $ 140, I didn't want to buy an expensive one, because I have a regular laptop. It has XP and has a 4GB SSD. With Windows installed it takes up 3.59 GB of hard drive so I'm almost of the space.
Just plug it in and go. It will not add to the overall size of your hard disk, but instead appears half drive all together. What makes you treat it as such and installing programs or storing other data. G'luck!
