SATA vs SATA II cable (using a Solid State Drive)?

Quick question. I have an OCZ 30GB Solid State Disk Vertex series connected via a SATA (not SATA II) cables. Is there, or will I notice a difference between using a SATA cable and a SATA II cable? From what I've gathered, it will not make a difference as you with a standard hard drive because the disc itself does not support the max speed of the cables, but what about in the case of an SSD? Thanks!

No, it does not really matter whether you use a SATA or a SATA II cable, because there is no real difference between the cables ... both cables can transfer data at SATA II rates. The only difference is that a SATA II cable has a retainer clip now. The real difference between SATA and SATA II interface, the speed, and since the cables are the same, the only differences will be on the motherboard. I'm not a computer expert, but I think you would actually SSD SATA II speeds are reading. I doubt it would be very real world difference. However, if your mobo supports SATA II, do not worry about anything. Hope it helped.
