Are these good read / write speeds for a Solid State Drive (SSD)?
The drive I look at it has read / write speeds. Are they good, and you think that this drive will stammer when used as the main drive with OS and apps installed? Sequential Access - Read: up to 175MB / s Sequential Access - Write: up to 100MB / s Die specs. for a Patriot Warp 32GB SSD. I too have the same question on another station. Sequential Access - Read: 100MB/sec Sequential Access - Write: 80MB/sec Die specs. Kingston SSDNow for a V-Series 64GB SSD. Will this drive completely stutter? I am planning a solid state drive for my MacBook Pro. I do not have a large capacity drive, I just want something much faster than the 5400 RPM drive that will replace it. Thanks for your help.
If you do not want no shutter jmicro drive, the spec does not give her much everything lint loading jmicro that driving in a real world system are far from ideal read and write. To get a quality SSD indilinx or money Intel X-25 MLC / SLC drives have. No shutter period. Indilinx A good example is ocz vertex.
