Before we netbooks I first explain what they can discuss in case you confused. A netbook is a mini-laptop with screen size ranging 7-12 cm. They offer portable computing but with a trade-off on the performance of the computer. One of the main things that people seek in a computer is the computer speed. The Intel Atom processor is not going to "wow" or something with you his power. It really will disappoint you more than anything. Expect no videos or photos on netbooks and certainly not planning on doing on a gambling.
After the speed of the next thing on your mind should be how does it look and feel. I'll tell you something most netbooks are made of pure plastic if you do not mind and continue reading. Netbooks are small so this means that the screen is small and the keyboard is crushed together. The only netbook that offers close to a full-sized keyboard, the 12-inch Ones.
It other thing with netbooks is that you do not always get a CD / DVD drive. If you can imagine, this makes adding programs require a CD / DVD drive not installing. Some offer external CD / DVD drives for an additional $ 100.
The memory and hard drives are really the only thing is the same as what you would get on full-sized laptop. Some netbooks (the high price Ones ~ $ 900) off you Solid State hard drives that are faster and slimmer than conventional hard drives, but come at a price.
Personally, I only but recommend a netbook for internet and e-mail and that's it. Just save some money if you really want some computing and get a slim line laptop like an Asus UL-series or a Sony Vaio ultra-portable laptop.
