What is the maximum RAM I can install on my Acer Aspire One?
I have the Acer Aspire One netbook. I have the 8GB SSD and 1GB of RAM, I thought I could upgrade the ram to 2gb so I bought it but I've been looking online and some websites say 2BG some say is the max and the maximum is 1.5 GB. Does anyone know for sure what the maximum memory, the Aspire one ZG5 model. Also if you look at the model zg5 it says it comes with Linux, but mine came up with 8GB solid state drive and Windows XP ...
I have exactly the same laptop. I think it was the first use of Linux only, but after the really low turnover, upgraded to XP much better. I bought mine as Linux, with 512MB RAM. After reading a few articles and such, I took the laptop apart and installed an additional 1GB (using the available slot). Leaving me with a total 1.5 GB. Laptop turns brilliant, wouldnt think you would have 2gb so much anyway!

hi there yeah samsung series 9 is a macbook air compedator both 13.3 inches macbook air has 2 gb ddr3 ram up grade too 4 gb ram but samsung 9 series can have 8 gb but storage samsung series 9 has a 128 gb ssd but macbook air tops out at 256 gb and samsung is useing the intel i5 cpu and macbook air duo core cpu and i think dosent samsung 9 series have the new faster usb 3.0 port besides 2 usb 2.0 ports macbook air has 2 usb 2.0 ports 13.3 inch has a sd card slot for a 32 gb sdhc card
hi there admin your acer one probaly has true 2 gb ram but linux or windows takes up 512 mb ram and uses ram when computer is turned on go computer setting there is away too look up the computer danostic but a am all apple soo i am useing a macbook air netbook soo i dont know pc windows or linux
