What is the best way to back up a computer?
I want a new SSD and wants to get rid of the hard disk I use now and dont feel reinstall of the OS and all programs. What is the best way to back up everything on the HDD and put it on the SSD? How long does it take? Also what is the best (CPU / RAM friendly or even doesn't even touch the CPU and RAM, fast and efficient) way to back up files automatically in the event there is ever a failure? If you switch to an SSD of a hard disk, you must reinstall the operating system, especially when using Windows XP. The way windows writes files to disk is optimized for a hard drive, not SSD so there are a few tweaks you need to do to optimize your OS for an SSD.
