Crysis Warhead crashes when entering full screen mode?
I'm running an AMD Phenom 3.4 140watt II (stock) 6GB DDR3 Gskill ram 64GB SSD Crucial (game installed) 1.5TB Caviar Green Drive (on original Crysis) Asus Motherboard Asus Radeon HD 4890 EVO M4A79XTD 1GB VGA (Core clock240.0 MHz Memory clock975.0 MHz) Pro 7 Windows (system rated at 7.2) For some reason when I switch to full screen the game crashes ... I cannot end the process in task manager, and even when I restarting it wont run .... I already removed and reinstalled, but the game the same problem when I switch to full screen. This problem is independent of the graphics setting and resolution setting ... Any ideas?
Make sure it is running in Administration mode. Are you trying to run a 64-bit version of Windows 7? It is may not be compatible with 64-bit Win7. It may even be incompatible with Windows 7, for that matter. Check forums to see if people with similar problems. Best to get out the stupid questions of how early, in case a stupid fixed. Crysis Warhead install: 1. Follow the installation instructions. 2. After NOT play has not started. Before the first play, let 'Crysis.exe "Windows 7 Firewall: 1. Click the Windows 7 Orb> Control Panel. 2. Click "System and Security". 3. In "Windows Firewall", click "Allow a program through Windows Firewall ". 4. Below the selection box, click the 'Allow a different program ... 'Button. 5.: Local Click "Browse" and select Crysis.exe usually located on disk (C:) Program Files Crysis Warhead Bin32. 6. Crysis Warhead click the desktop shortcut and start playing. If all else fails, make sure to install DirectX 9. Just because you have DirectX 11 or whatever with Win7 does not mean that all of the required DX9 files are installed, so make sure the up to date too. Hope you get this working.
