Can I get a laptop HDD in an asus eee pc900a?

Hi. I'm buying an Asus Eee PC 900A for my gf to take to college in her lessons. It is only with a 4GB SSD, so I was wondering if I fixed cheaper than a SSD can get and go with a laptop 2.5 "HDD. Is it compatible or will it fit in? Is it even possible isntead put a hard drive of a solid state drive?

The solid state hard drive in your computer is the same size as a standard 2.5in hard drive and using a sata connection as long as you a 2.5in SATA drive it will work. It will go in exactly as your SSD
