How can my asus eee 901 pc faster?
I've used a ASUS EeePC 901 with Windows XP. I think my crappy SSD is because my reading time is too slow, as dial-up slow. I have a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom and 2gb OCZ ram. My hard drive is divided into two partitions, C: and D:. my d: 8GB and my c: is 4gb, but my OS is installed on drive C:. So I guess my question is, if my SSD to other manufacturers, such as Kingston or RUNCORE and 64GB of space that will make a difference? how could I since I netbook has CD-ROM, someone said FRYS I can ghost my OS to a flash memory stick, but I dont know how to do that, all im trying to do my netbook faster, Ive been messing with MTU's and used ccleaner and even running my netbook in super performance mode, someone help me and guide in the process of making my eeepc 901 as fast as a desktop. Thanks in advance.
