Can I have two hard drives, making one of the standard drive letter?
I am planning on building a high-end computer for a friend soon. I want Windows Installing an 8GB SSD (solid-state drive) and then using 500GB disk for everything. He is not very smart, tech wise. So I do not want every time he installs or stores to have something to set it on D: instead of C:, it will default. So my question is how can I D: what are all he gets to save and install? Windows on a SSD drive the boot time would be reduced by at least 30 seconds. That is why I do it. And I am aware that much larger sizes, but are you aware of the price?
You could change "C" in "D" and "D" in "C:" by right clicking on My Computer and click Manage. Then Disk Management. If you right-click the drive you want you can change drive letter and Paths.
