In addition look online for OEM drives a lot less expensive than a store and buying one in a box as I did over the weekend and paid $ 75.00 for a 500GB Western Digital Caviar Green drive an OEM version is only $ 65.00.

If you are looking for faster performance, check out Solid State Drives (SSD), there is a big paradigm shift going on in the industry and in the next 3-5 years SSD Drives will be the same price point as Optical drives now.
