Intel 160GB SSD question!?
Hi, I got myself a new PC and I do not know 'that' much about PCs, came equipped with a Intel SSD (160GB) I have my Windows 7 64 are installed and plan on installing it on every game. My question is, will the performance of the disc with every game I install? Is there a point where it starts to slow down? I think that the old 'classic' car, was always proposed to leave some space, etc. Thing is, so fast and beautiful at the moment .. I would not slow down. someone please illuminate me:) Thanks a lot, so the SSD will have the same performance as the 90% achieved? As I said it is a 160GB SSD (However - it shows 148 at the moment) and I still have 87gb of free space.
Usually inertia comes from fragmentation of files on a hard drive or an infection / corruption. SSD's do not function as HDDs and fragmentation is not a problem and should not be enabled for defragmenting the drive. Keep your operating system anti-virus/malware clean and safe with proper protection and use of a reg cleaner. Do not keep all of your personal data on that drive!
