Run OS (Vista) on 16GB ExpressCard (SSD)?
Hi, I have a Dell XPS 1530, but the hard drive is alittle noisy (i think due to the aluminum enclosure) and very annoying. So I wonder if I an ExpressCard 16GB (SSD) purchase and installation of Windows Vista, there would be no sound and I could use the 160GB hard drive for backup drive to install games, singing, etc. In any case, that way the hard drive would continually get approached causes constant flicker. So my question is this ... Vista can be installed and perform an Express Card? And, the hard disk as a backup drive for games, songs, etc? Cheers then.
The first question, yes, if you need Vista drivers during the installation, second question, yes can make vista would see it as a different physical disk.
